This Common Core mining training covers the three mandatory modules required under Ontario’s Surface Miner Common Core Program #770210, as established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU):Â
Designed specifically for surface miners, pit and quarry workers, and others working in surface mining operations, this Common Core standards training provides a practical foundation in the three modules mandatory for this type of work. This surface miner training helps participants develop the knowledge and skills required to work safely and confidently in their workplace while completing the legislated training requirements.Â
Upon successful completion, participants receive documentation confirming completion of the required Common Core training as well as the proficiency and skills gained during the training.Â
