Temporary & Seasonal Workers

“Temps” tend to suffer more injuries than full-time employees, and those injuries tend to be more serious. By law, Canadian employers must ensure their workplace is safe, train employees with respect to any potential hazards, supply necessary personal protective equipment and make sure workers know how to use it and the equipment they are assigned to operate. These responsibilities apply to all workers, whether permanent or temporary.

It is up to you to ensure that all of your part-time, seasonal and/or temporary workers are fully trained!
