Course Overview and Content
This training begins with a one day classroom session. The course covers all topics (day one/ classroom) required to manage an effective and safe winter maintenance program. All operators will be given a (practical/day two) pre-trip refresher, run through an obstacle course and have a one to one on-road evaluation.

    • Post Season maintenance and Storage of Equipment
  • Best Practices for Plowing and Snow Removal Techniques

    • Entrances and Exits
    • Driveways

Hands-On (Seat-time) Activities

  • Pre-trip Inspection
  • Clearance Training Utilizing an Obstacle Course
  • In-Cab Check Ride

Evaluation: Theory exam (multiple choice); oral exam (by instructor) and practical exam (on equipment)
